School Mini session information 2025

School photo minis are coming up soon! If you are not familiar with our school photo minis, these started out in 2020 when I had numerous requests for school photos since many schools were not offering them due to covid restrictions. We had a massive turnout and a whole lot of requests for a yearly school photo event. So, here we are, 5 years later, still offering them and enjoying every minute of it!

How does it work? 

Our school minis are done on specific days in September and October. We do not offer them outside of the scheduled days, as they are priced extremely low to try to keep them close to what school photos would cost. This does not allow us to schedule them as individual sessions on our books. 

-Sessions are quick and easy. 10 minutes tops!

-Price per child is $30+tax- This includes whatever digital images I keep from the session. Some kids give me a bit more than others, some give me one smile. It varies per child :) 

-One sibling portrait is included as long as all children have been paid for. If you have multiple children, but only one child being photographed, the sibling portrait will be an additional $30 +tax. 

-Retouching can be added for $5 per child. 

-This is a WALK IN appointment only. No need to sign up ahead of time. This occasionally means you will have to wait a few minutes before being photographed, but the wait time is typically not more than 10 minutes total. We will have chairs set up for those who are waiting. Please do not hang out in the salon area up front! :)

-Payment is due when you come in. We take cash, credit cards and venmo. Checks are not preferred. 

-Images will be delivered via online gallery within 2 weeks after they are taken. 

The dates: 

September 10th - 1pm-3pm

September 11th- 4pm-6pm

September 20th- 9am-12pm

September 25th- 9am-11am  1:30pm-3pm

October 18th- Make-up day and retakes- 9am-11am. 

Quick reminders and prep tips! 

-Please be ready to go when you walk in. There may not be enough space or time to allow for prepping in the studio space. Please make sure all children are ready to go when you arrive. 

-Avoid cheetos, chocolate, cheese and other snacks that cause dirty mouths and faces. Please wipe your children's faces and noses before being photographed. 

-Children who are not cooperating will be asked to take a quick break in our client lounge area with their parents. This allows them to calm down and have a snack while they wait. Once the next client is done, we will try to photograph again when they are ready :) 

-Be sure to enter your information when you arrive. We will have sign up sheets and someone to take your payment. 

-If your little one is having a rough day, please feel free to come back on another scheduled mini day. No additional charges are required for this.
